I tried to leave a comment on the snake post but got a server error so am leaving it here instead. I didn’t know that Ireland has no snakes! Amazing. One more reason to travel there someday! 🙂

Cheryl – I lived in Florida for many years and the snakes there frightened me. I loved the freedom of being able to walk the mountains in Ireland and never have to worry about a snake. In fact Ireland has no really dangerous animals. No wild cats, boars or wolves. A fox or a badger would be the scariest, and both would probably be more frightened of a human than vice versa.
