Cardboard Tube Paper Plate Christmas Wreath
This vintage Christmas wreath craft is made using toilet tissue cardboard tubes, a paper plate, some ribbon and decorative balls. It's a simple and enjoyable craft for young and old alike.
Equipment
- 1 Pair of scissors
- 1 Foam paint brush
Materials
- 3 cardboard toilet tissue tubes
- green paint
- red pom poms small ΒΌ inch size
- glue
- ribbon red or color of choice
- 1 paper plate or styrofoam plate
Instructions
- Paint each one of the cardboard toilet paper tubes using green paint, or the paint color of your choice, Allow to dry.
- Cut a hole from the center of the paper or styrofoam plate.
- Cut each cardboard tube into three equal pieces.
- Glue the cardboard tube pieces around the rim of the plate surrounding the middle hole.
- Cut a length of ribbon and tie it into a bow. Glue the bow in place at the top of the plate wreath.
- Glue pom poms in a random pattern to the cardboard tubes to look like holly berries.
- Display your wreath using a plate stand, or on a wall.
