Instructions
Gather the materials and equipment together. Work on a flat surface.
Choose three shades of green craft paper and three colors for the tulips. Trace the grass shapes onto two different green sheets, and use the third green sheet for the stems and leaves. Trace the tulip petals onto your chosen flower colors, then carefully cut out all the pieces.
Take the short grass piece and apply glue along the sides and bottom edges, leaving the zigzag top edge unglued.
Attach the glued edges of the short grass piece to the bottom of the longer grass piece. This creates a pocket at the top between the two layers.
Take the tulip petals and glue one petal to each side of the teardrop-shaped center petal, making sure the pointed tips of the side petals face outward.
Stick the other side petal on the opposite side of the 1st one. Glue the leaf patterns on the stem cutout.
Stick the paper tulip craft on the top side of the stem cutout.
Insert the bottom side of the stem through the grass pocket and glue in place. Assemble more flowers and put them inside the grass pocket. Glue them in place.
Use the finished piece as an art work display or use it to decorate a greeting card.
