Plush Shamrock Stitching Craft
Create your own plush shamrock for Saint Patrick's Day with this felt shamrock stitching craft. Use the free printable template to cut out this craft before stitching.

- 1 Needle to stitch the shamrock
- 1 Scissors to cut out the template and felt
Materials
- 1 square felt fabric green color
- thread two green colors - one to match the felt and one darker or lighter to contrast.

Instructions
- Select green colored felt fabric for this shamrock stitching craft. Print and cut out the pattern for the shamrock size of your choice. The template includes 3 different sizes. You will need to trace and cut out 2 pieces from the felt for each size shamrock.
- Prepare needle and thread. The color of the thread should be 1 shade darker or lighter than the selected felt fabric. Stitch along the vein lines of the shamrock pattern.
- You can stitch the vein lines on both shamrock felt pieces or you can stitch one, whichever you wish. The stitched one will be placed to the front side of the plush.
- Place both shamrock felt cutouts together, keeping the stitched one to the front. Prepare needle with matching thread and stitch around the sides to join the shamrock patterns together., working flat blanket stitch around the side.
- Keep a small opening for the stuffing. Use cotton filling or scrap felt to stuff the shamrock felt pattern. After the stuffing is complete, stitch the small opening to secure the stuffing. Tie a knot or 2 and then cut off any extra thread.
