The New Year is here and it's time for our annual Irish calendar giveaway for 2022.
Images of nature and the beautiful countryside of County Cork feature in this gorgeous wall calendar. Each month showcases the magnificent scenery and wildlife of Doneraile Park.
Maureen O'Hanlon, who calls the village of Doneraile home, uses her amazing photography skills to capture spectacular images of her local park in County Cork.

Photography by Maureen in County Cork
We are blessed that Maureen is an animal lover and that the animals of Doneraile Park love her too.
Her pictures prove that the inhabitants of Doneraile park show no fear when they see Maureen with her camera. It's as if the pose for her, knowing she will share their beauty with the world.
Maureen has walked the paths and riverbanks of Doneraile Park, snapping spectacular images to compile into this lovely calendar.
In a time when travel was limited, Maureen has been blessed to live so close to such an amazing park.
Once again, Maureen has graciously sponsored this giveaway for readers of Irish American Mom. Two lucky readers will win a copy of her 2022 calendar.
Before I share details of the giveaway, let's first take a look at the glories of Doneraile Park throughout the past 12 months.
Doneraile Park As A Wildlife Home
I love Doneraile Park and I know it very well.
It's located in the northern part of County Cork, close to where my father was born near Kildorrery, County Cork.
If fact it's only about eight miles from my family home and farm.
Nestled at the foot of the Ballyhoura Mountains, Doneraile Park is an amazing amenity, and well worth a visit.
Doneraile Court, is a beautifully restored old house, which was once home to the St Leger family.
It is the center piece of this park which was once a demesne or landed estate. This park was first created in the 18th century around the banks of the Awbeg river, and is magnificently landscaped.
Boasting over 400 acres of land, this park is a haven for wildlife and nature. The park is run by the Irish Office of Public Works or OPW.
Nature awaits around every corner. You'll find robins and native Irish birds, ducks, swans, deer and little red squirrels.
The forested paths change colors with the seasons.
Nature Photography Irish Calendar
This calendar was created by Maureen O'Hanlon from Doneraile.
Maureen takes her camera with her on her daily walks in Doneraile Park, and we truly have benefited this year, with a superb collection for 2022.
Each month features another in season image. They're all unique and absolutely gorgeous.
Maureen has an amazingly keen eye for nature.
Make Time For Nature is a Facebook Page created by Maureen to share her amazing photos and videos with all her fans.
Maureen is a truly talented nature photogrpaher.
She captures so many up close images where the animals seem to pay her no heed.
The animals and wildlife view Maureen as one of their own.
Maureen's photos of Doneraile Park in snow were featured on one of our blog posts a few years back.
Doneraile Park Calendars 2022
Maureen's has created a lovely calendar featuring Doneraile Park's finest scenery and wildlife, especially for 2022.
Maureen shared her 2021 calendar with us last year, plus you can take a look back at her 2020 calendar too.
Each month of Maureen's calendars, showcases the park in the glory of Ireland's changing seasons.
Doneraile Wildlife Park is free to the public, and a lovely place to take a stroll, with its many acres of rolling fields, meadows, and woodland trails.
Maureen captures the essence of this lovely corner of the world.
Her gorgeous photographs of this 18th century park, are a perfect way to celebrate Ireland throughout the coming year.
Thank you Maureen for all your amazing work.

I have not been to County Cork or any of the south of Ireland, yet. I do hope to get down there one day, as I also have a friend in Waterford.
The calendar looks lovely and I noticed the days of the week start with Sunday--does Ireland start the week on Sunday as well then or is it Monday or is the calendar Maureen's preference? Just curious as I live in the States.
Happy New Year Mairead!
Irish American Mom
Hi Bernadette – I hope you make it to the southern counties of Ireland someday soon. The scenery is spectacular along the Wild Atlantic Way. I think Maureen chose to start the calendar on Sundays rather than Mondays. It suits us in America far better.
