Here's a little something green and a little something bedecked in shamrocks to beautify your home, especially for Saint Patrick's Day.
Today I'm delighted to offer a lovely combination prize in a little giveaway for readers of Irish American Mom.

These lovely gifts have been offered as a prize by Gifts of Ireland, for a lucky reader to win.
Before I tell you the details of how to enter for a chance to win, let's first take a closer look at this tartan green blanket and shamrock kitchen set.
Table of Contents
Irish Themed Tartan Green Throw
This soft, green, tartan throw or blanket features a lovely plaid pattern combining various shades of green, interwoven with hints of red and gold, creating a harmonious and traditional Irish tartan design.
Crafted from a plush fleece, this throw rug offers both warmth and a gentle, soothing touch. It's warm, inviting and cozy, plus it's ideal for snuggling under on cool evenings.

I love the overall look of this blanket, since for me, it evokes a sense of comfort, nostalgia and rustic elegance.
It makes a versatile addition to any living space, whether draped over a sofa, chair, or the foot of a bed. It can even be worn around the shoulders for warmth like a shawl or pashmina. Another idea is to place it on the ground for a picnic.
Shamrock Style Dish Cloth, Oven Glove and Pot Holder Set
Part two of our combination prize is a delightful Irish themed kitchen set. This shamrock embellished set features a dish cloth, oven glove and pot holder embellished with vibrant shamrocks.
This set is a charming and functional kitchen accessory, perfect for adding a touch of Irish flair to your decor.

The primary color of these matching pieces is a neutral white base, serving as a subtle background for the green shamrock design.
The shamrock embellishments featured prominently creating a dynamic and playful pattern.
This kitchen set is not only practical for kitchen use, but also serves as a delightful nod to Irish culture, especially on St. Patrick's Day, or any day of the week or year, for those of us who appreciate Celtic motifs.

This lovely shamrock pot holder says happy cooking, from my kitchen to yours.
Stories of Ireland From Gifts of Ireland

My name is Susan, I'm half Irish and a songwriter. I'm working towards making a trip to Ireland a reality one day. Since I'm Irish & a songwriter, I thought I'd better write an Irish song before I go there. I wrote my song "Play Me Home to Ireland" and recorded it in the studio. Whenever I do get to Ireland, I think it will be great fun for me to take the song to an Irish pub & ask the Irish pub performers to play my song & give me a critique.
Irish American Mom
Hi Susan - Lovely to hear you're a songwriter and have written a song for your planned trip to Ireland. You will love visiting Irish pubs where music is so important and so much appreciated. Thanks for joining in our giveaway.
All the best,
Mairéad

We always had Irish potato candy at Christmas 🎄. One of our family traditions. Not sure if it was really an Irish recipe or not.
Irish American Mom
Hi Cynthia - I believe Irish potato candy originated in Pennsylvania amongst the Irish there. I have never experienced this tradition in Ireland itself, but did come across this delicious treat when I lived upstate New York.
Best wishes,

I don't have anything irish, but when I was young a friend of my Grandmother gave my twin sister and I a necklace, the Claddagh Necklace. Great site, thank you for sharing such wonderful content.🍀

My Irish granny and uncles would gather round the piano and play and Irish songs right after Sunday dinner, when we were all together. I have dreamed of Ireland my entire life. Tho my granny play the piano and organ at church I did not know til many years after she passed away that she always wanted to play the harp. I sang for years and bought a harp, which I have not mastered but can play. It was when I bought the harp, that one of my uncles remembered and told me about granny's wish to have one. I pray that I will someday be able to play it as beautifully as granny played the piano. It will be my way of honoring her memory and making her smile up in heaven.
My goal is to

Many memories of our family's trip to Ireland. Especially going the wrong way on a roundabout...
Irish American Mom
Hi Karen - Oh my - that must have been a close call. It can happen so easily. I have to be very careful when I enter a roundabout in America. Luckily, there are very few where my home is in Kentucky. I may have lived in America for over twenty years, but I originally learned to drive in Ireland. My roundabout skills do not translate well to America.
