Loominations Custom Irish Throws is the brain child of another Irish American Mom, or maybe she is an American Irish Mom?

Let me explain. Jamie Monagan, owner of Loominations Irish Throws, moved to Cork, Ireland from her native United States, way back at the turn of the millennium, in the year 2000.

She moved there for just one year, with her husband and three children, and low and behold nearly twenty years later, they now call Cork home.

Now when Jamie moved to Ireland she brought a precious Jersey Shore cotton throw with her - a warm blanket is always a good idea for Ireland's wet and windy winters.

Back in 2013 as Jamie was enjoying the warmth of her beautiful Jersey Shore throw she realized that no similar throws were available in Ireland.

And that was the inspiration she needed, to start her journey of creativity and entrepreneurship. Loominations Irish Custom Throws was born.

She hopes her Roscommon-born grandfather, William Donnelly, would be proud of her achievements.
