Table of Contents
Celtic Cross Necklace
This lovely necklace is perfect for celebrating your Irish heritage and it's valued at $45.
Before I tell you the details of how to enter for a chance to win, let's first take a look at the history of Celtic Crosses in Ireland and the beautiful jewelry stocked by the Irish Gift Company, a wonderful online store.
Jewelry Inspired by Our Celtic Heritage
Celtic crosses are symbols of our Christian faith and are found in cemetries all over the island of Ireland.
The Celtic Cross can be spotted in some of Ireland's most majestic places, highlighting the island's most breathtaking landscapes.
We usually think of Celtic Crosses as existing in Ireland only, but they're found all over the British Isles and even in Brittany in France, which was also a Celtic nation.
Irish immigrants to the United States and Australia have brought their love of the Celtic Cross with them. Many Irish people choose the Celtic Cross as memorials in cemetries all over the world. And many Irish people choose to wear a Celtic Cross necklace as an emblem of their heritage.
The Celtic Cross truly is a beloved symbol of Ireland, often linked to lyrical Irish blessings.
Here is a beautiful blessing from Ireland especially for this day when we celebrate our Irish heritage.
May the Raindrops Fall Lightly On Your Brow
“May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow,
May the soft winds freshen your spirit,
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you,
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.”
A Celtic Cross is a wonderful reminder that God enfolds you in the mantle of his love.
The Mission of the Irish Gift Company
The Irish Gift Company was founded by a Cork man in 2018. It's an online Irish gift shop where they fully understand the significance of Celtic and Irish symbols,
They strive to share the welcoming spirit of the Irish with their customers. They choose Irish gifts to instill a sense of friendship, sharing, and joy. They express deep pride in our Irish nationhood, while embracing the community spirit of Ireland today and yesterday.
This Island of Ireland pendant is a wonderful way to display pride in our nation and our Irish identity.
Keenly aware of the fact that people all over the world share a deep sense of connection with the island of Ireland, the good folks at the Irish Gift Company carefully curate their products to bring Ireland’s history and culture, past and present, to those who love Ireland as they do.
Browse the pages of their store and you'll find carefully chosen Celtic and Irish gifts that boast spiritual, symbolic and traditional revelvance.
The Claddagh is one of the most beloved Irish symbols. It represents love, loyalty and friendship. In this beautiful pendant it's combined with a Celtic Trinity Knot.
It is said that Saint Patrick not only used the shamrock, but also the Celtic Triquetera to convert the Irish to Christianity. The Trinity Knot was used by our patron saint to represent the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Prize
Our prize today is a Celtic Cross pendant with a traditional Celtic knotwork embossed design. The winner can choose whether to receive their pendant in a silver or gold finish.
The cross is made from highly polished stainless steel and measures 2 inches. It is presented on a 23 inch chain.
This is a perfect gift for the Irish man in your life, who is proud of his Irish heritage.
It can be worn by either men or women, but many men find the chain length and size of the pendant appealing.

Thanks for the recipes... you inspired me to take my corned beef and make hash this morning! We travel back"home " to Connemara each year. This year will be taking my two Grandgirls to meet their cousins for the 1st time....St. Patrick holds a special place for us of course...I think I am most amazed having climbed Croagh Patrick a number of times.. why would he climb such a mountain and stay for more than a couple hours let alone 40 days ! so foggy and rainy even in July!
Irish American Mom
Hi Ernie - Saint Patrick truly was a brave man to spend 40 days on top of a rainy mountain peak on the west coast of Ireland. Lovely to hear you'll be bringing your grandchildren to meet their Irish cousins in Connemara this year. Have a wonderful time. Thanks so much for following my recipes and ramblings.

Greetings to everyone on this St. Patrick's Day weekend. Cards are always exchanged with my siblings in advance of what we call "the grand and glorious day" honoring our Irish heritage and faith, whereas the younger set exchanges greetings via texts. This year we enjoyed fish with colcannon, green salad, and yellow mangoes for our pot of gold fruit along with fresh soda bread. Four soda breads were baked and shared with family. All the grandbabies love bouncing in the arms of their grandparents while Irish music plays, such a joy!
We'd love to win the Celtic Cross pendant in gold. (Answer: A.)

Hi Mareen Ann - Lovely to hear you still exchange Saint Patrick's Day greeting cards. Your menu sounds wonderful, and I'm sure your family made many special memories on this Irish day of celebration. Thanks for joining in our giveaway.

On St.Patrick’s day my son in law plays the pipes at multiple establishments after marching in a parade. Lovely to hear. The Celtic cross was originally a pagan symbol but it’s said St.Patrick introduced it to Ireland.the circle is suppose to represent the sun. I have one made with cConnemara marble.I bought a large copper hanging one on theDingle peninsula.. They are in lots of cemeteries in the British Isles.also quite a few in America, one of the most striking is in St.Bonaventure cemetery In Savanna Georgia.love the Celtic cross.
