Irish Themed Learning Fun
Irish teachers and parents may find them helpful all year round, and if you like to celebrate your Irish heritage any time of year, then print these activity sheets to share with your grand children or children.
Homeschooling parents and preschool teachers will find these sheets very helpful to add an Irish twist to learning in the run up to Saint Patrick's Day.
Letter Identification
Let’s start off with learning our letters. This worksheet highlights the letter I.
I is for Ireland - little ones can search through the letter scramble and circle all the I’s.
Another idea is to spell out Ireland by circling the letters in green. They can also see how many times they can find enough letters to spell out Ireland, without using any letters twice.
Rainbow Coloring
The next sheet features a rainbow with distinct stripes.
Little ones can choose to color their own rainbows in any shades they like.
Leprechaun Hats Activity Sheets
Here’s a coloring and cutting activity featuring different styles of Leprechaun hats.
Budding fashion designers may enjoy this leprechaun styling activity.
Learning To Count
Preschoolers who are learning to count and write out numbers can use this worksheet to record numbers up to 40.
The numbers are grouped with 5 per row. Use the last column to skip count in 5's, up to 40.
Or practice adding in 5's, starting with different numbers by examining each column. Number patterns will become evident.
