Thank You To Gifts of Ireland For Our Twelve Days of Christmas Irish Gifts Giveaway Spree
Irish American Mom has teamed up with Gifts of Ireland to bring you these fabulous Irish prizes.
This online giftstore was founded by Aidan, an Irish man from County Offaly. Here's what he has to say about his inspiration for his business:
"Ireland's history is preserved not just in books and archives, but also in craft. Celtic designs preserve the millenia-old traditions of a prehistoric society, while contemporary craft reinterprets the story of Ireland today, showcasing new stories of Irish culture and of where we are heading."
A big thank you to Aidan for generously sponsoring these prizes.
Plus each day we'll have a new video for you, showcasing each lovely prize.
You'll get a chance to meet Aidan, who joins me on these videos to share these wonderful Irish gifts.

I am having difficulty finding out how to comment on your blog however am thinking it is because I am new and not screened yet. In the meantime I will say I adore the Irish hat in the photo - we have an Irish Design House store in Toronto which is lovely to visit too! Blessings.....(just a thought it might be because I have been putting my first 2 names instead of my first and last name which is preventing my post?? Just a thought....will continue to try.)
Irish American Mom
Hi Margaret - You should be all set for commenting now. The first time a reader leaves a comment, it gets held in moderation until I approve it. After that you should be all set to leave comments once you use the same name and email address. I do this to try to prevent spam bots from taking over my site and leaving hundreds of annoying nonsensical comments. I'm so glad you found my website and have joined in our discussions about all this Irish, Irish American and Irish Canadian too.
Thanks for stopping by.

Alice Morrison
Hello, Mairead,
I have missed out on your posts for a while. Am happy to be back and hear a bit more of Ireland life. I live in Pleasanton, California and had one wonderful visit to Ireland with my two daughters and their friend.
We had a marvelous time and would love to return. I am part Irish on my mother's side and had she still been alive, I know she would love to have gone with us.
I enjoy your posts and sorry I have missed some.
Irish American Mom
Hi Alice - Welcome back to our little Irish corner of the internet. Lovely to hear you had such a successful and enjoyable trip to Ireland. Once you visit once, Ireland can keep calling to you to return. I think your mother was probably with you in spirit as you traveled through Ireland. Thanks for following my recipes and ramblings. I have many more to share over the coming weeks, months and even years.
All the best,
Mairéad
Patricia Crawford
Thank you so very much for your generosity… every gift so far is beautiful! My grandparents were from County Offalley (sorry I’m sure that’s spelled wrong). My grampa Joseph P Cummings was a peat farmer and won medals in curling before coming to the USA. I hope I have some luck of the Irish in me ☘️
Irish American Mom
Hi Patricia - Thanks for sharing the story of your grampa Joseph from Count Offaly. There is lots of turf or peat in County Offaly, so I am not surprised to learn he was a champion turf cutter. What a great story. Thank you for stopping by to celebrate your Irish heritage here in this little corner of the internet.
All the best,
Mairéad
